• 1.) An IP address is a number assigned to every device that connects to the Internet. It is currently a 32-bit number, but it is being upgraded to a 128-bit number to account for the growing number of devices that can connect to the Internet.
• 2.) A domain name is an item that allows someone to go to a website w/o typing in that website's "IP address". Basically, entering the domain name is a simpler way of entering the "IP address".
